You have erased your father’s history – Mr P criticizes Seun Kuti for his recent remark about Peter Obi (VIDEO)

Peter Okoye (Psquare) aka Mr P, a veteran singer and musician, has reacted to a video in which his colleague, Seun Kuti, described Peter Obi as “an opportunist who cannot rescue Nigeria.”

During a recent interview with ‘TheMicOnPodcast,’ Seun argued that no politician can save Nigeria except Nigerians.

Kuti described the Labour Party’s presidential candidate as the internet’s favorite, claiming that even if he won the election, he would not be able to save Nigeria from its current problems.

The Singer also referred to Obi as “an opportunist who started a movement” after losing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries.

Seun also brought up PSquare (Peter and Paul Okoye), who have been vocal about Peter Obi and urging people to vote for him.

According to him, Mr P claims to know the solution to the country’s problem. However, the same Peter Okoye has previously dined and performed for wealthy men and politicians.

His words;

“He hasn’t had the time because he started too late. You can’t be telling me that just because you lost PDP primaries 18 months before the election, you suddenly started a movement, and you have a plan for the country,” he said.

“No, that’s opportunism. And it’s not an opportunist that will deliver Nigeria—not jumping on Labour Party. The Labour Party has a socialist structure. Peter Obi is a capitalist. Where are they going?”

Mr P, apparently enraged by his colleague’s stance on Obi, took to social media to lambast Kuti.

Peter took several shots at Kuti on Twitter, asking him to manage his frustrations and behave himself.

“I understand your frustration but realize that the sky is big enough for all birds to fly. @burnaboy and other great artistes have climbed on our great Fela’s ladder to blow. Comport your self and pray to your god.

My God has blessed my destiny & i’ll 4ever remain thankful. I’ll surely keep you in my prayers. Learn from your nephew @Madekuti cos he is well guided and clean,” he said.
