A Nigerian lady, identified as @ChisomAgbafor, has shared how an unexpected encounter at court made her lose a ₦10,000 bet.
According to her, she made a bet with a friend who was searching for a job. The condition was that he had to approach and inform five senior lawyers about his job search before he could win.
The young man reportedly gathered the courage to speak to five legal practitioners, but all of them turned him down.
However, after the court session, one senior colleague who had witnessed his efforts called him aside and offered him a job.
The lawyer reportedly told him:
“I like your courage. Can you resume on Monday?”
The lady said the unexpected job offer meant she lost the ₦10,000 bet.
