Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, also known as Ijoba Lande, a popular Nigerian Instagram comedian, has gone missing, according to his family.
Lande is said to have left the house on Sunday night, March 26, without his phone and has yet to return home.
The news shocked the entertainment industry, with many colleagues and fans expressing their concern and sending prayers for his safe return.
Nkechi Blessing and fellow comedian Cute Abiola were among the first to sound the alarm and demand that Ijoba Lande be found.
Nkechi Blessing took to social media to share photos and details about his whereabouts, urging anyone with information to contact him.
Cute Abiola, for his part, reposted videos shared by Ijoba Lande’s family members on his Instagram page.
Ijoba Lande’s wife cried out in one of the videos posted about her husband’s sudden disappearance.
She claims that the comedian hasn’t returned home since he left on March 26th.
“This is to inform the public that IJOBA LANDE left home to an unknown destination on 26th of march around 9:00 pm and up till now we can find him.
“We have reported the case at the nearest police station and with their help they help us to send signal to radio station please if you noticed anthing you can dm his account or @ijesaekun.
“He left his phone at home after breaking his fasting on 26th that was the last time we heard from him”, she captioned the video.

This is a clear message Of Mental health issue… It’s just as important to understand what responses may be unhelpful, or worse damaging to someone who has opened up to you for support in time like this and you lots taking the Mickey..
