Ondo: Bunmi Ademosu’s family warns Akeredolu’s wife following audio leak

Betty Akeredolu, the wife of Ondo Governor Elemo Adedipe, has been warned by the Elemo Adedipe family about her threat to deal with Bunmi Ademosu.

Bunmi is the Special Adviser on Public and Inter-Governmental Relations to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

Betty accused the aide of sneaking a “concoction” to her spouse and allegedly plotting to become the deputy governor in a leaked audio.

“I’m warning her for the very last time to stay away from my husband. I will deal with you mercilessly…you’ll never forget in your life”, she warned.

Adedipe A.Olajide, Chairman of Akure’s Elemo Adedipe Dynasty, condemned the “outright threat to our daughter’s life” in a statement.

In a statement, he urged the Police and the Department of State Services (DSS) to summon the governor’s wife.

Elder Olajide stated that Betty would be held “responsible and accountable” if anything untoward happened to her daughter and/or her assets.

The dynasty empathized with Akeredolu as “he faces this unusual emotional stress from within his household at a time he has health challenges”.

Olajide also cited a Bible verse that states

“It is better to dwell in the wilderness than with a contentious and angry woman”.

The statement, however, wished the Ondo helmsman speedy recovery “so he can finish his term”.
