A Nigerian lady’s post recalling a major sacrifice she made for her ex-boyfriend has gone viral online, sparking mixed reactions from social media users.
The lady, identified as @Deseiye on X (formerly Twitter), shared details of what allegedly happened between her and her ex-boyfriend in 2022.
According to her, after the man lost his job and could no longer afford his rent, she stepped in to support him by emptying her savings to help him stay afloat.
However, she claimed that just three months later, the same boyfriend began dating another lady he had earlier told her “not to worry about.”
Sharing her disappointment, she wrote:
“Three months later, he started dating the girl he told me ‘not to worry about.’ The craziest part? He still texts me sometimes asking how I’m doing.”
Her story quickly gained attention online, with many X users flooding the comment section with differing opinions and advice.
