A young Nigerian man has stirred reactions online after sharing a humorous story about an unusual experience he claimed to have had at a Winners Chapel service.
Posting on X, the user identified as @socetyhatesjay said he felt led to attend church but decided to carry his iPhone 13 Pro Max instead of his newer iPhone 17 Pro Max.
According to him, he encountered what he described as a “divine blockage” that prevented him from entering the church auditorium, leaving him confused about what was happening.
He recounted that after a clergyman referenced a Bible verse, he returned home, swapped phones, and came back with the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Upon his return, he jokingly claimed he was welcomed into the church in a joyful atmosphere.
“I got rid of the phone at once, drove home to get my 17 Pro Max and I was welcomed into the church with a joyous atmosphere,” he wrote.
The post quickly gained attention on social media, with many users reacting humorously while others questioned the story’s authenticity.
