Lady breaks the internet as she celebrates matriculation with improper English

A woman celebrated her acceptance into a Nigerian university with a statement that contained numerous grammatical errors, and it went viral on social media.

The viral post, which surfaced on TikTok, featured the lady‘s face alongside several photos from her matriculation ceremony.

But what really got people’s attention was the peculiar way she phrased things.

In her celebratory message, she wrote: “Happy matriskulation to humble me. Happy is me and my cos meat.”

The statement, which was riddled with typos and poor grammar, provoked responses on social media very fast. The word “cos meat” was thought to be an attempt to say “course mates,” while “matriskulation” was a misspelling of “matriculation.”

Her post received a lot of attention despite the mistakes; some users found humor in the seemingly innocent mistakes, while others emphasized the significance of using proper grammar when posting in public.

Her message was meant to celebrate being accepted into college, but because of its inadvertent linguistic errors, it went viral.
