A man has sparked reactions online after revealing why he ended his relationship and asked his girlfriend to move out of his home.
According to him, the relationship became strained due to repeated disagreements over hygiene and household habits.
He alleged that his girlfriend regularly placed her underwear on top of his 32-inch television set to dry, a habit he said made him uncomfortable.
“I dated a girl who used to hang her underwear on top of my 32-inch TV.”
The man said he repeatedly questioned why she continued doing it when there were other places in the house where she could dry her clothes.
According to him, she explained that the heat from the television helped the underwear dry faster.
He further claimed that dirty dishes were sometimes left unwashed for days, despite several conversations about keeping the home clean.
The man said he initially hoped things would change after discussing the issues with her, but the habits reportedly continued.
Eventually, he asked her to move out of his apartment.
After she left, he said he spent days cleaning, washing household items, rearranging his furniture and opening the windows to freshen up the space.
The story has since stirred mixed reactions online, with many people saying cleanliness and household habits are major factors in relationship compatibility.
