A Nigerian man has shared an emotional and painful experience after finding out that his ex-partner had been secretly preparing for her wedding without his knowledge.
According to a post shared on TikTok by user @Otunba_Deledaricco, the shocking discovery came just two days before her wedding — despite the fact that she had recently spent time at his home as though everything was normal.
In his words:
“Life didn’t end when my ex informed me about her wedding just two days to the wedding. Mind you, she was in my place a week before the wedding and spent two days with me — no quarrels, no fights, no misunderstanding.”
The heartbreak deepened when he realized he had unknowingly played a role in the wedding preparations.
He explained that the fabric worn by the bride’s Asoebi ladies was the same material he had helped her select at the market. She had allegedly told him the fabric was for her textile business customers.
“And life didn’t really end when I found out that the cloth the Asoebi ladies wore during the wedding was the same material I followed her to the market to buy. She told me it was for her customers because she sells textile materials. I was actually the one who picked the material.”
