An Abuja-based businesswoman has sparked mixed reactions on social media after sharing a letter she received demanding ₦50,000 payment for using her television and other services.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the woman identified as Bingel Bamba’am expressed shock, wondering how she was expected to pay such an amount for watching her own TV using her electricity.
“Craziest thing I have come across ever”
In her post, she wrote: “We got a letter today demanding we pay for using TV and other services and this is the craziest thing I have come accross ever. We should pay for watching our own TV with our electricity & satelite subscription? Lmfaoooo.”
