It’s no more about “he built Lagos”, “he was great in Anambra” or “he was part of OBJ Govt”. It’s no longer about yesterday. It’s now about what you have seen of your candidate during the campaigns. Did he prop you up, as in make you proud or were you the one propping him up with all manner of arguments and defences? Did he live up to your hype of him before the campaigns?
Remember that what you have seen of your candidate is the best that he would be if voted into Govt. The campaigns are like fashion parade. Your candidate put up his best act. If he fell below your expectation, he would also fall below your expectation in governance. If he put you on the defensive, you would continue to defend him in Government. If he was outshone by any other, then he is not the best that there could be.
This is about your future, not your bias. Nigeria has always under performed. If your candidate has performed below your hype of him before the campaigns, know you for sure he would be another statistic of under performance if you vote him into office. I know your are tired of failure.
