Pastor Mistakes Pregnant Woman for Another Man’s Wife, Sparks Reactions Online

A Nigerian woman has stirred widespread reactions on social media after recounting a bizarre encounter with a pastor who allegedly accused her of being married to another man while she was out with her husband.

The woman shared the story on X (formerly Twitter), explaining that the incident occurred when she was six months pregnant with her second child.

According to her, she and her husband had gone out to a restaurant to spend some quality time together when they encountered a pastor outside the establishment.

She said the cleric, who was dressed in a clerical collar and carrying a Bible, approached them and unexpectedly directed a warning at her husband.

Recounting the incident, she wrote:

“A pastor told my husband to leave me because I’m another man’s wife.”

The woman explained that the pastor looked at her husband and confidently said:

“Why are you with another man’s wife? Leave this woman alone.”

Surprised by the accusation, her husband reportedly asked the pastor to explain why he believed she was married to someone else.

The pastor then pointed at her baby bump and claimed it was proof that she was expecting her first child with another man.

According to the woman, the cleric said:

“Don’t you see that she and her husband are expecting their first baby?”

The statement immediately left the couple stunned before her husband burst into laughter.

The reason for his reaction, she explained, was that the pregnancy was not their first child together but their second.

The woman said the encounter became even more shocking after they later noticed a vehicle parked nearby bearing the name of the pastor’s church, suggesting that he genuinely believed he was delivering a divine revelation.

Her post quickly gained attention online, with many social media users expressing amusement, disbelief, and concern over the pastor’s confidence despite being completely mistaken.
