A Nigerian man has stirred reactions online after revealing what he allegedly discovered on his sister’s fiancé’s phone just three months before their wedding.
In a post shared on X, the man identified as @AskEmmy0 disclosed that the wedding eventually took place in 2019 in Port Harcourt with over 400 guests in attendance.
According to him, he served as the maid of honor during the ceremony and smiled throughout the event despite carrying a disturbing secret he had uncovered earlier.
He explained that while going through his sister’s fiancé’s phone months before the wedding, he discovered consistent bank transfers of ₦150,000 every month spanning two years.
Curious about the transactions, he reportedly traced the account and found it belonged to a woman living in Warri.
He further claimed the woman had a four-year-old son as of 2019, raising suspicions that the groom may have had a hidden child and another family outside the relationship.
Narrating how he confronted the man privately, he wrote:
“I confronted him privately. He didn’t deny it. He just looked at me and said, ‘Some things are better left alone.’ Then he said, ‘Your sister is happy. Don’t be the reason she isn’t.’ I said nothing.”
The revelation has since triggered mixed reactions online, with many debating whether he should have informed his sister before the wedding.
