A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after recounting an unusual encounter she had with a beggar while trying to find a cab.
The story was shared on X by @_Ola_sun_kanmi, who explained that the incident began when a woman approached her to ask for money. She chose not to respond and continued on her way.
According to her, after getting down from a bus and struggling to find a cab, the same woman began praying for her. Despite the prayers, she remained silent and did not engage.
However, the situation soon took an unexpected turn.
Narrating the experience, she wrote:
“The next thing I heard was, ‘You people will be acting like God.’ I didn’t wait to hear the rest. As I walked away, I heard, ‘If you check well, she doesn’t even have money like that. Someone that looks like she hasn’t eaten for two days.’”
