Banky W, an entertainer and politician, has announced his absence from the recently concluded Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2023
Despite the glamorous presence of numerous celebrities at the event, the beloved couple Adesua Etomi and Banky W surprised fans by not attending.
Many had hoped to see them walk the red carpet in their usual grand style.
Banky W took to social media to share photos of himself and his wife, Adesua Etomi, dressed in matching khaki outfits.
Alongside the pictures, he wrote;
“Didn’t get to attend the #AMVCA’s, but I already got my award #AndTheWinnerIs #LifetimeAchievementAward #CongratsToTheWinners #AMVCA2023 #AndTheWinnerIsLove.”
According to Banky W’s statement, despite not physically attending the AMVCA, he considers himself a winner of a lifetime achievement award in the category of love.
