The Jigawa State Police Command has arrested a 20-year-old groom named Auwal Abdulwahab and three of his friends for having a forced marathon sex with his wife.
The incident occurred on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at approximately 10 p.m. in Tungo village, Albasu District, Sule Tankarkar local government, according to SP Lawan Shiisu Adam, the command spokesperson.
According to the police, the deceased’s husband planned the incident prior to their wedding day.
Furthermore, it is reported that the man’s wife forbade any sexual relations with her husband until they were married.
According to him, “the groom is alleged to have conspired with his three friends namely Nura Basiru, Muttaka Lawan and Hamisu Musa, entered into their matrimonial home with the intention of coercing his bride into non-consensual s£xual activity, while in the process, the said wife d!ed.”
Following a medical examination at Gumel General Hospital and confirmation of her death by the on-call physician, the police reportedly removed the body.
The woman’s parents have been given permission to bury the victim’s body.
