An angry and humiliated Nigerian man has taken to social media to describe a startling encounter with a police officer.
When he asked the officer to show his ID card after he had already shown his own, the incident happened.
Instead of complying with his request, the officer slapped him in front of his office, the man disclosed in a post on his X (previously Twitter) page.
He was subsequently stripped of everything he owned, thrown into a police van, and left a short distance from his place of employment.
Expressing his anger and frustration, the man cursed the officer’s children, condemning the treatment he received.
His post read:
“A police officer slapped me in front of my office because I asked for their ID after showing them mine. They bundled me into a Siena and dropped me a short distance from my office after taking everything I had. Well, the officer who slapped me, if he has 10 children, he will bury all of them.”
He continued: “He will use his hands to bury all his children and wife. That hand he used to slap me will bury them all.”
