Peller reportedly on FBI watchlist for cybercrime

Following the disclosure of his prior involvement in Yahoo-Yahoo, also known as internet scamming, Nigerian TikTok star Peller has reportedly caught the attention of the FBI.

This was revealed in an audio posted on social media by controversial investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo, who stated that she was notified of Peller’s purported involvement in cybercrime by an FBI source.

According to Olunloyo, Peller previously admitted in a TikTok session to having engaged in “yahoo-yahoo” (internet fraud) before gaining fame and transitioning to legitimate earnings as a content creator.

Olunloyo has cautioned the 19-year-old social media star about his future remarks, stating that his previous admissions may result in severe legal repercussions.

He is in a similar situation to Hushpuppi, the influencer who is currently serving a sentence in the United States for offenses related to cybercrime, she said.

“If you know Peller, pls tell him to SFTU. He is about to single-handedly ruin his own future,” Olunloyo cautioned, noting the increasing scrutiny on influencers suspected of online fraud.

Kemi’s claim has sparked a wave of reactions from social media users who disregarded it as a typical ‘cock and bull story from the journalist’ while others emphasized the catastrophic potential of the claim.
