Prominent Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun experiences tragedy after Zeenat Balogun, his daughter, passes away.
Through his verified Instagram account, the actor informed his fans of the tragic news on Saturday.
In his post, Saidi Balogun posted a solemn image of candlelight surrounded by flowers, accompanied by heartbroken emojis, signalling the depth of his grief.
Despite the fact that he did not elaborate, the post left fans and coworkers in mourning alongside the actor during this trying time.
On her Instagram account, fellow actress Ronke Oshodi Oke later confirmed the tragic news and expressed her sadness, along with her condolences, to Saidi and his family.
“No words can ease the pain of losing someone so precious. My heart goes out to you @saidibalogun during this incredibly difficult time. May you find strength in the love and support surrounding you,” she wrote.
Fathia Williams, his estranged wife, expressed her condolences to her ex-husband for the loss of her stepdaughter. In a post, she wrote, “😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔 Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.”
