After a protracted request from his fans, Grammy Award winner Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, has announced the release of his eagerly anticipated album. The singer of “Essence” told his followers on Instagram that the album will be available at 1pm Nigerian time.
His album ‘Morayo’ has been all his fans could talk abut for weeks and he has finally revealed when it will be released. Wizkid has been stringing his fans for a hot minute because he started teasing the release of his album since the beginning of the year.
Wizkid warned his fans ahead of time about what to expect, so this album came with a lot of terms and conditions.
Wizkid had stated on social media that his sound has changed and developed, so fans should not expect the same “Pakurumo Wizkid” anymore.
Furthermore, he requested that no one classify him as an Afrobeats artist because he is not one.
