FUOYE SUG President Trends Online Over Alleged Private Video

A Nigerian man has reacted to a viral video allegedly linked to the Student Union Government (SUG) President of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE).

The video, which has been widely circulated across social media platforms, has generated mixed reactions, with many users raising concerns about privacy, consent and the sharing of private content online.

A Facebook user, Akachukwu God’swill Paul Agudosi, claimed that the student leader had been trending for controversial reasons following the emergence of several alleged private clips.

He described the situation as unfortunate, arguing that the incident could affect how students, lecturers and members of the public view the student leader.

According to him, the individual in the footage did not appear to be in his usual state, although this claim has not been independently verified.

He wrote:

“This is a SUG President… a student, but a first-class student. An extraordinary student.

“He has been trending since yesterday for the wrong reason. I saw several videos and it is unfortunate. When I watched them, he did not look normal at all. He looked like someone under the influence of something.”

The development has sparked conversations online about the dangers of recording intimate moments, the importance of consent, and the possible legal consequences of distributing private videos without permission.

Reactions

“Private content should never be used as revenge. It is a serious violation of privacy.”

“People should stop sharing the video and allow the matter to be handled properly.”

“Leadership position or not, nobody deserves to have their private life exposed online.”

“The internet never forgets. Young people need to be more careful with personal content.”

“If the videos were shared without consent, whoever released them should be held accountable.”

“This is why relationship issues should not become social media entertainment.”

“Everybody is dragging him, but nobody is asking who gave anyone the right to release private videos.”
