A Nigerian woman has stirred reactions online after opening up about the lengths she went for love during her boyfriend’s National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) days in Ekiti State.

The lady, identified as @Tobielooba on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that she traveled to Ekiti twice to visit her man while he was serving.

According to her, she fully participated in his daily routine during those visits — accompanying him to his Place of Primary Assignment (PPA), joining him at the market to buy foodstuffs, watching him play football in the evenings, and even escorting him at night to fetch water.

She noted that all the sacrifices were worth it because they eventually got married, adding that not ending up with him would have broken her heart.

Her story quickly gained attention online, with many social media users sharing humorous and mixed reactions.

Some praised her dedication and celebrated her happy ending, while others pointed out that not every woman who makes such sacrifices gets rewarded with marriage.
