Young Couple’s Marriage Ends After Three Months

A young couple’s marriage has reportedly collapsed just three months after their wedding, following a deep disagreement over church attendance.

Early Joy Turns to Conflict

The union, which began with joy and celebration, quickly turned sour when both partners failed to agree on where to worship after marriage.

According to sources close to the family, the husband asked his wife to join his church, believing it was important for them to worship together as one family.

However, the wife refused. She was deeply committed to her church, where she served as a Children’s Department Coordinator. She explained that she had built a strong bond with the children and could not simply walk away from them.

Disagreement Over Roles and Doctrine

The husband proposed that she could continue serving in the same department in his church and even grow further in her role there. Despite this, she declined.

He also expressed concerns about being under different doctrines, fearing that separate teachings could affect their unity in the long term. She stood firm and refused to reconsider her position.

Escalation of Tensions

What began as a simple disagreement gradually developed into open conflict. Sources reported that the wife stopped cooking for her husband and denied him intimacy as tensions escalated.

Both parties took their grievances to their respective pastors. Family members and church leaders later stepped in to mediate, holding several meetings in an attempt to resolve the crisis.

Mediation Attempts Fail

Her pastor reportedly insisted that she remain in her church, while his pastor emphasized the importance of unity in marriage and encouraged her to join her husband’s congregation.

Despite repeated efforts, no compromise was reached. Neither side was willing to shift ground, and the situation remained unresolved.

Marriage Ends

Three months after their wedding, the marriage officially came to an end.
