A young woman has taken to social media to raise an alarm after her ex-boyfriend allegedly broke into her apartment and carted away items he had previously bought for her following the end of their relationship.
According to the visibly upset lady, the incident occurred shortly after she informed the man that she was no longer interested in continuing the relationship. She claimed that instead of respecting her decision, he forcefully gained access to her home and removed several belongings, leaving her room badly scattered and damaged.
Expressing shock and anger, the woman questioned why anyone should be forced to remain in a relationship against their will. She described the act as harassment and intimidation, stressing that ending a relationship should not result in such extreme behavior.
Sharing a video of her disorganized apartment, she warned that the issue was far from over and hinted at taking further action.
She said in part:
“Na by force to dey inside relationship? Because I told this guy that I’m not doing again, that I’m not interested in the relationship, he broke into my house and came and took everything that he bought for me. As who now? Just see how tattered my room is. This is not the end of this. You have touched the lion’s tail.”
The video has since sparked reactions online, with many social media users condemning the alleged act and advising the lady to involve law enforcement, while others debated the issue of taking back gifts after a breakup.
