A Muslim man has taken to social media to share a heartwarming story of kindness he received from a Christian stranger on Christmas Day, sparking conversations about unity and generosity online.
The man, identified as @IUWakilli on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that he never expected such a thoughtful gesture from someone he had never met. According to him, a Christian man reached out after seeing one of his tweets and offered to send him Christmas rice and chicken.
In a post that has since garnered over 500,000 views, @IUWakilli disclosed that the kind stranger didn’t stop at just rice and chicken but also included zobo to complete the meal.
Expressing his excitement, he jokingly said he had to take an extra lap on his way home because he couldn’t wait to get back and enjoy the food. He went on to publicly thank the donor, identified as @Oriafarrell1, for the generous act.
The Muslim man used the opportunity to humorously urge Christians to share rice with their Muslim friends during festive periods, adding a lighthearted request for coleslaw to be included in the menu next Christmas.
His tweet read in part:
