Woman accuses Lagos restaurant of assaulting her clients, ruining ₦1.5m wig

A Nigerian woman has confronted a restaurant in Lagos, claiming that the employees there have physically abused her customers and damaged her wig, which is worth ₦1.5 million, during the altercation.

A video of the altercation was posted on X (formerly Twitter) by user @ChuksEricE.

Adebisi Oluwabori, who was clearly upset, stormed the restaurant in the video and accused the staff of assaulting her customers, who she said were now in the hospital.

They beat him up, they beat his friends, and he has been admitted in the hospital,” Adebisi shouted. “If you don’t want them to beat you up, do not come to this restaurant ever again!”

She added, “My name is Adebisi Oluwabori. If anything happens to my clients…”

Some staff members tried to explain while she vented her frustrations, but tensions remained high and the conversation turned heated.

In addition to the alleged assault, Adebisi claims that the altercation also damaged her pricey wig, which is worth ₦1.5 million.

The cause of the incident was not made clear in the video, but it quickly went viral online, with many Nigerians expressing their outrage and demanding an investigation in the comment section.
