A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after revealing how a sick leave she took from work unexpectedly turned into workplace drama.
The lady, identified on X as @Priye644455, disclosed that she requested sick leave from her office so she could go on a vacation with her boyfriend.
According to her, she was relaxing and cuddling with her man at the beach when she suddenly received a notification from her workplace informing her that she had been issued a query.
What shocked her the most, she explained, was that she had not even posted any photos or updates from the trip online.
She later discovered that someone close to her — a person she trusted — had reportedly informed the management about her whereabouts.
Sharing how deeply the incident affected her, she wrote:
“I called her immediately, and she couldn’t even deny it. That betrayal hurt more than the query itself because I genuinely trusted her.”
