A woman has shared a funny family moment after her young daughter reacted dramatically to seeing another woman hug her father.
According to the mother, the incident happened when her husband’s younger sister came to visit their home. She said she had gone to the market while the children stayed back with their father.
The children reportedly did not recognise their aunt because she lives in Abuja and does not visit often.
When the mother returned, her daughter rushed to her with an urgent report, worried about what she had seen earlier.
The little girl had watched the visitor hug her father and, not knowing she was his sister, immediately felt her mother needed to be alerted.
She reportedly told her mother:
“Mummy, this woman hugged your husband, come and beat her.”
The statement left the family laughing after the child was told that the woman was actually her father’s younger sister.
The story has since amused many social media users, with commenters praising the girl’s protective nature and joking that she was already watching out for her mother.
