A dispatch rider was caught red-handed pilfering the side-mirror of a Lexus Jeep in Lagos, according to CCTV footage.
The incident occurred near Awolowo Road, where the rider boldly committed his illegal act.
The dispatch rider is seen parking his delivery bike near the targeted vehicle, a Lexus Jeep, in the surveillance footage.
He quickly approached the car and skillfully removed the side mirror, seizing the opportunity.
To hide his theft, the rider discreetly placed the stolen mirror inside his dispatch box before fleeing the scene.
Residents and vehicle owners are concerned about the safety of their belongings due to the dispatch rider’s audacity and precision in carrying out the theft.
Concerned citizens have expressed their outrage and called for stricter measures to deter such criminal acts in response to the incident.
