Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) students were observed running away and hiding in the restroom after armed robbers allegedly broke into their hostel at midnight.
In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter), one of the students was seen hiding in a toilet and talking about the incident that was happening all around him. He was clearly shaken.
Holding his phone tightly, he said: “This might be my last snap with my iPhone 14 Pro Max,” suggesting the device could be stolen during the robbery.
The video was captioned, “Armed robbers came to our hostel in the midnight,” lending weight to his claims.
The clip quickly gained traction online, with many users flooding the comment section to express concern.
