On social media, a heavily pregnant woman has expressed her outrage over what she claims is her husband’s mother’s repeated assaults, frequently in front of him and their kids.
A video containing the unsettling account was shared on the well-known social media site X (formerly Twitter).
In the heartbreaking video, the woman can be seen crying as she bemoans the continuous abuse she says she experiences in her married home.
She claims her husband’s mother has been assaulting her on several occasions, and her husband has allegedly watched helplessly—even when their kids are around.
Along with a heated exchange between the two women, the video also features a glimpse of the husband’s mother.
The pregnant woman, who is clearly upset, promises to hold her husband and his mother responsible for the fate of her unborn child.
Part of her statement reads: “Is it a crime to be married? She’s telling me to leave my husband’s house. You brought your mother to hit me while I’m pregnant. He’s watching as his mother beats me. If I lose my child, I’ll hold you responsible.”
