A Nigerian woman reported a youth corps member to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) after he allegedly said that SS3 girls are his “spec,” citing concerns about the safety of the children in his care.
The woman urged NYSC to take action against the corps member for his contentious video in a post that is currently making waves on the social media site X (formerly Twitter).
In her words: “NYSC, you people will not see this person to call and threaten.”
She included a video with the post that she claimed showed the corps member making hand gestures that suggested inappropriate interest in SS3 girls. She further stated, “Somebody needs to tell us the name of the school this guy is teaching in, because obviously, with someone like this, children are not safe.”
The woman then played another video in which the corps member tried to defend himself and explain the meaning of his gestures in response to her accusations.
But she rejected his justification, claiming he was attempting to control the story and mislead the public.
