According to reports, a 13-year-old disabled girl who is a chorister in the Ogidi Local Government Area was allegedly impregnated by a pastor.
An investigation into the situation has reportedly been started by the Ondo State Security Network Agency, also known as Amotekun Corps.
Reports says that the pastor’s name has been given as Pastor James and also the head pastor of Christ Apostolic Church Modebiayo, Oke-Gburowo, Odigbo LGA.
After being arrested by the Ondo State Security Network Agency, he was taken to Oloja Moses Ogunmoyewa, the traditional monarch’s pastor, for getting a child pregnant.
A family member of the disabled girl also allegedly claimed, according to sources, that the pastor had secretly forced their daughter to terminate the first pregnancy.
Mrs. Victoria Bernard, the girl’s mother, claims that the pastor rejected the pregnancy due to the girl’s deformity.She appealed to the government, organisations, and good-hearted people to step in and support the family.
However, it has been reported that some church pastors have voiced their concerns and requested that the matter be resolved in private.
