A Nigerian woman got into trouble after stealing two iPhones from a neighbor who fixes phones. However, in a surprising turn of events, the devices ended up back with their rightful owner.
In a startling turn of events, the cousin she had given the stolen phones to help her sell them unintentionally returned them to the original owner, the neighbor, to help with the sale.
This strange incident was shared by a user who claimed to have seen the drama unfold in a viral post on X (formerly Twitter).
According to her, the lady stole the two iPhones from a neighbor who works as a phone engineer.
Unaware that the devices were stolen, the lady’s cousin—who lives with her—took them back to the same phone repairer, asking for help to sell them.
Sharing the story online, the poster wrote: “You guys, my friend’s neighbor stole two iPhones from their other neighbor who repairs phones and gave it to her cousin to help her sell (the cousin lives with her).”
“The cousin didn’t know where the phones came from and gave it to the repairer neighbor to help him sell it.”
She added that the phone repairer was visibly shocked and confused when he recognized the phones as his, and couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
