New worries have surfaced after the mother of the late singer Mohbad, Abosede Aloba, expressed alarm over the alleged kidnapping of her younger son, Adura.
Eyewitness Account
According to reports, Adura was taken by unidentified armed men, suspected to be police officers, shortly after leaving the Magistrates’ Court in Ogba, Lagos, on Wednesday.
Sources indicate that Adura appeared in court due to a legal dispute over a phone sale involving Damola Ayinde, a case that also implicated actor Yomi Fabiyi and others. However, what began as a routine legal process allegedly took a dark turn.
Abosede Aloba’s Cry for Help
A viral video shows Mohbad’s mother weeping bitterly, her voice filled with distress as she pleads for help, claiming Adura was forcefully taken away in an unwell state.
Speaking in Yoruba, she accused Yomi Fabiyi and Sam Jojo of orchestrating the abduction and expressed fear for her son’s safety.
Her Emotional Plea:
“Please help me, people of God! It’s Yomi Fabiyi. They’ve taken my son, and I don’t know where they’re taking him. My son did nothing to them.”
“They must not lay a hand on my son. They must not beat him—he is sick.”
“The real culprit has already confessed. They’ve been begging me since morning, but I told them the matter is already in court.”
“Demola, you’ve put me in trouble. Mohbad’s spirit will fight you.”
