A Nigerian woman has publicly criticized her ex-boyfriend, claiming that despite doing nothing to provoke him, he mistreated her, cut her skin, and broke her phone.
She made these revelations in a post currently trending on the popular social media platform, X, formerly known as Twitter.
According to the lady, she endured various forms of abuse while they were in a relationship.
However, both of them kept the abuse hidden from the public, maintaining the appearance of a happy and healthy relationship online.
Evidence has now surfaced online confirming the abuse, as a video shows the injuries inflicted on her body and the damage done to her phone.
In the video, the distressed lady could be heard saying: “What have I done to deserve this? All this maltreatment, all these beatings. See what he did to my skin, see what he did. You cut me while I was sleeping — see what you did?”
The video also carried a caption that read: “This guy must pay for everything. It’s been 3 years and he’s still walking free. I was just 20. He messed me up mentally and physically, yet he’s still out there.”
