A man has brought back memories of people who want to emulate popular footballer Achraf Hakimi by leaving their wealth to their Nigerian mothers.
Nigerians, mostly men, have praised the Moroccan footballer for outwitting his wife in their equitable asset distribution following their divorce.
Because Hakimi had all of his properties registered in his mother’s name, making it impossible for his wife to obtain them, some men have decided to follow in his footsteps.
A netizen reminded men of their Nigerian mothers’ refusal to return what they were given to hold.
He recalled how mothers would always withhold what their children gave them, imposing their rights on it by virtue of being their maternal provider.
