A heartbreaking tale of treachery and its terrible repercussions has gone viral after a Nigerian woman and her son contracted HIV from her unfaithful husband.
The woman, who went by the handle @_yoursafespace_e on TikTok, disclosed her marriage and life’s collapse to a relationship advisor in an anonymous manner.
She described how her husbaninfidelity caused her to become broken and filled with guilt after her husband infected her and one of their sons, Derrick, with HIV.
Since they were married ten years ago, the woman revealed in her narration that her husband had a lengthy history of infidelity. Despite multiple betrayals, she remained for the benefit of their kids, holding onto the belief that her sacrifices would preserve her family.
Her husband came home and gave her an envelope with his HIV-positive test results, which was the start of the disastrous turn of events.
Derrick and Junior, the couple’s two sons, were also in danger because they shared clippers when getting haircuts. Junior’s test results were negative, but Derrick, age six, was confirmed to be positive, leaving the family in a state of despair.

“I need to vent because at this point the only thing keeping me sane are my kids. Please keep my identity anonymous. My husband has cheated on me severally ever since we got married and in the beginning I would get hurt each time he did this.
“I would cry and beg him and he would promise to stop but he never did.I even went as far as confronting and beating up one of the girls he was seeing in our third year of marriage and guess what? He popped up with a new one a week later.
“After the birth of our twins I just gave up and focused on our children allowing him do whatever he wanted. He told me he loved me but he was a man and it was impossible for him to control his urge.l accepted my fate and after hearing from other married women how their husbands cheat, l decided that it wasn’t a situation that was peculiar to me so l stopped nagging or getting angry when he came home late.
“I would perceive different female perfume on him but I would just keep mute about it. “As long as he comes home to me and the kids”, I always said to myself.”
