Portable, a controversial Nigerian singer, has been granted bail by an Ogun State Magistrate Court sitting in Ifo, Ifo local government area.
The Zazu singer appeared in court this morning, April 3, on a three-count charge that included assault and theft of musical equipment.
The court granted him bail in the amount of N300,000 with two N300,000 sureties. The court ruled that both sureties must own land near the court.
Portable will be held at the Ilaro Correctional Center until he meets the bail condition, according to the judge, who adjourned the case until April 26.
