Six girls have allegedly vanished after being invited to a house party in Lekki, according to a Nigerian woman who has expressed alarm.
A video containing the claim went viral on the social media site X, which was formerly known as Twitter.
The video claimed that although seven girls were initially invited, the seventh girl was abandoned when she got out of the car to pick up a misplaced wig.
When she came back, the other six girls were gone and the car had already left.
In a harsh warning to the girls, the woman advised them to avoid interacting with strangers and to exercise caution when meeting new people.
Such interactions could result in their exploitation for ceremonial sacrifices, she cautioned.
Her statement: “6 girls in Lekki has gone missing. They were invited for a private house party. and they carried them all, but no one has gotten in touch with them since. their lines are no longer going through. Their friends can not reach them.”
“There was only one survivor because she got out of the car to go get her hair because she missed it, but when she returned, they were all gone.”
“They were supposed to be 7 for the house party but they took 6. The 6 girls have gone missing.”
“Beware of people, stop meeting new people in the island or people in Lekki. Be extremely cautious because they will use you for rituals. Many of them are returning to Nigeria to carry out rituals.
