The Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has responded to the claims that he is gay after his name appeared on a list of famous people who have been implicated in homosexual activities.
The allegations came to light after Remi was listed among Nigerian celebrities who were allegedly involved in homosexual activities by the well-known blog Gistlover. This claim has generated a lot of online discussion.
Reactions to the reports have been mixed, with some fans asking Remi about the allegations. The actor decided to speak up as the discussion gathered steam, posting a response on his Instagram page on Monday.
Remi made it clear in his post that he does not pursue followers at the expense of his peace by cautioning trolls and critics against making gay slurs on his page.
“This page is for love and light and good vibes. I’m not desperate for followers or engagement. If you come with darkness and negativity from a blog to my page, DM or phone I will block you. Be it a friend, fan or family.
“I respect my space and energy TREMENDOUSLY that is why I don’t see all this nonsense normally. My boundaries are very clear. Love, light and things,” he wrote.
While Kunle Remi did not directly address the specific allegations, his message emphasized his desire to maintain a positive online space.
