The property ownership disputes were amicably settled by Davido’s first mother, Sophia Momodu, with a real estate firm that confronted her.
Sophia had earlier created a stir on the internet when she revealed she would no longer be hiding her blessings, shared a video of a newly finished home on Snapchat, and made vague references to purchasing a new home.
The real estate firm handling the property, however, charged her with making a false claim to ownership, claiming it belonged to a different client.
The company removed its posts to provide an update on the matter, stating that Sophia had reached out for a peaceful resolution, which has since been fully resolved.
“As a peaceful company that we are, we have decided to bring down the post after Sophia reached out for a peaceful resolution, both parties involved have fully resolved the issue amicably and are now at peace.
Moving forward, we would like to strongly reiterate that our client’s interest is and will always be our utmost priority,” they stated.
