A touching video shows corpers surprising a woman and thanking her for the free water they received during their service year.
The young volunteers disclosed that during their community service, the woman had shown them kindness and generosity.
They went to the woman’s house to give her a salute after they completed their passing out parade.
They can be seen in a video that was circulated online carrying out the customary ceremony that the corpers usually carry out to honor a significant individual.
A caption attached to the video read …
“She gives corps members water for free, so we went to salute her on our passing out day.”

God bless her big”
@YouCanCallMeOma shared: “There was this aboki that used to bring water during my NYSC days. We had language barriers but somehow he always knew what I wanted. I have been to that area several times but nobody seems to know his whereabouts.”
@solos_wisdom commented: “There are still good people around.
May God bless this woman and bless the corpers for appreciating her good deed towards them too.
Reminds me to place a call to some families that treated me like this during my service year back in 2009.
Your hearts of gold in not forgotten.”
@kenterprenuer said: “The pitch of their voices, the tone, and the discomfort on some of their faces, all of these scream “cringeworthy.” Yet, despite all of this, it is indeed a kind gesture.”
