Congratulations are in order for award-winning Nollywood actress, Ekene Umenwa, and her husband on the arrival of their first child.
The arrival of their first child followed Ekene Umenwa’s husband’s birthday.
The actress shared her feelings on Instagram, thanking God for his mercy and describing her pregnancy as a wonderful experience.
Umenwa Ekene posted a video of herself holding her growing baby bump while dressed in Catholic accoutrements alongside her post.
She captioned the video, “I am truly blessed by the Lord’s mercy. My pregnancy journey was an amazing experience, and I give praise to the Blessed Trinity and honor to Mother Mary, who accompanied me every step of the way. Inspired by a vision I received while praying at the grotto, I am filled with immense joy to dress as Mother Mary, whom I hold dear. Although I feel unworthy to stand in her presence, her mercy has touched me deeply”.
