Unknown gunmen burn a woman alive in Imo and destroy the commissioner’s home

On Tuesday, unknown gunmen burned to death an elderly woman in Amagu Ihube, Okigwe Local Government Area, Imo State.

When the gunmen razed several homes, including that of Emeka Okoronkwo, the Imo State commissioner for youths and sports, the woman was burned.

Nnamdi Obiaraeri’s country home was also burned down. He was the former Dean of the Law Faculty at Imo State University, Owerri, and served as Commissioner for information, youth and sports, and land and urban planning during the administrations of former governors Ikedi Ohakim and Rochas Okorocha.

The country home of Emeka Ngwu, a retired Director of State Services, was also set ablaze.
