Less than a day after unfollowing well-known Nigerian musician Davido, popular American singer Enisa lost 12,000 followers.
In 2021, Enisa became well-known in Nigeria as a result of her social media app collaboration with well-known influencers.
Her fame skyrocketed when Davido featured on one of her songs. But in an unexpected development, Enisa unfollowed Davido and the influencers who gave her a boost to her stardom.
Nigerians were infuriated by this action, and in response, there was a widespread backlash and a widespread campaign to unfollow, which cost Enisa over 25,000 followers.
Enisa abruptly reversed course and started following Davido again, probably in an effort to restore her reputation.
