Veteran Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has shared the amazing tale of how he raised the funds to construct his well-known N1.4 billion film village in Oyo State.
Ibrahim Chatta revealed that he funded the N1.4 billion project on his own without taking out any loans in a recent video that has gone viral.
The actor claims that during the COVID-19 lockdown, he received a surprise source of income that allowed him to accumulate a substantial sum of money.
Ibrahim Chatta, who has been making headlines for his grand film village, explained that he turned to providing personalized shout-outs during the lockdown while collaborating with fellow actor Tayo Sobola.
His reported earnings from each shout-out were approximately N300,000, and his financial success was greatly influenced by the high demand for these requests.
The actor went on to say that prior to the film village, he was struggling with unfinished real estate projects and had no savings.
He explained that he had been asking God for money to complete the building of a particular property, which had reached the lintel stage.
Ibrahim Chatta thanked God for his prompt help and credited divine intervention for his breakthrough.
