Superstar Afrobeat singer Rema ignites dating rumors after making a public show of affection with Togolese TikTok star Kelly Akoussah, who is based in the UK.
This happened after Kelly was seen dancing to a song off of the artist’s sophomore album, “HeIS,” in a video that he posted to his Instagram story with the caption, “My bb [baby].”
This was meaningless until fans noticed Kelly’s reply to Rema’s post, which promptly started rumors that the two were possibly dating.
Kelly’s caption when reposting Rema’s post states, “[I] love you ❤️ .”
This occurs several weeks after Rema disclosed that the mother of his unborn child will be his new girlfriend. He said that his unidentified girlfriend would do anything for him and that she has a tattoo for him.
Prior to the latest rumors, Rema was associated with Justine Skye, Wizkid’s ex-girlfriend. They were seen sharing a private moment at Skye’s birthday party, which Rema allegedly planned last year, which stoked the rumors.
Both Rema and Justine Skye have refuted rumors of their romance.
