The well-known singer Anthony Victor, better known by his stage name Victony, talks about his breakup and how his ex-girlfriend made him feel foolish.
He disclosed this while speaking n a recent podcast, hosted by Chinasa Anukam.
He talked about how learning the truth about his ex-girlfriend’s covert relationship with another man made him feel betrayed and angry.
Victony told him that his ex-girlfriend had lied to him, saying the other man was just a friend, but she had actually been having an affair with him. Victony was hurt and stupid as a result.
“She [my ex-girlfriend] was talking to this other guy and I was aware. She was telling me about this other guy. Me, very open-minded, I was like, this guy was just her friend.
“She told me he was her friend but his name just always came up. And I will be like, what kind of friend is this one?
“At the end of the day, it turned out he was not her friend. That was very mad because when I realised everything that was going on, I felt very stupid,” the singer said.
Victony revealed that the heartbreak occurred during his teenage years, when he was still quite young and vulnerable.
