Football player Kayode Olanrenwaju of Nigeria is said to have filed for divorce from his wife Dora Ezinne at the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja.
In addition to requesting custody of their children, the football player based in Europe requested ₦1 billion in damages from Tobi Adegboyega, a UK pastor, for the emotional distress, financial loss, and damaged relationship resulting from his “adulterous affair” with Ezinne.
It is important to remember that Olarenwaju and Ezinne have clashed over a variety of topics, including infidelity allegations. The situation changed when Ezinne filed a lawsuit against her ex-husband.
Olarenwaju’s cross-petition designates the pastor who lives in the UK as the Co-Respondent and Ezinne as the Respondent.
The Super Eagles striker also claimed in his cross-petition that his ex-wife had kidnapped their children, who had later been found and saved by DSS agents.
After that, the Respondent gave his lawyer instructions to petition the DSS on behalf of the kidnapped children from the marriage. Olanrewaju also claimed that his divorced wife was sabotaging their joint business endeavors.
A hearing on this issue has been scheduled for September 24, 2024
